Moi
Alrightee..here we go..my name is Jason Ho, a 76er dragon and born in the wonderful tropical country of Singapore.
Education
Currently holding a Masters of Arts in Mass Communications from Oklahoma City University (through MDIS). Taking into account of my slacking past and that I was about to head to no where with my life, I was fortunate and thankful to be given another opportunity to study again. Thanks to those who believed in me.
Job
I am doing communications work at the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources Singapore Tourism Board. Yeap, I am a public civil slave servant. Advancing further in my career, I am now handling media both from the local and international arena. No more intranets, no more internet websites and no more collaterals. We have people to do that for us now
.
Confessions
If you have been reading my blog regularly, there are some things you should know about me:
- I have always wanted to wear a professional Care Bear costume for Halloween. Still unable to find a costume rental company that has one of those…it has been 5 years and still no luck.
- I am a closet ah beng. Yeap, I have said it. Now give me a break and not bring this up ever.
- The rest are just too embarassing to publish..so you would have to know me personally before prying such information from me.
Passion
Photography
I was bitten by the shutterbug when I got my first digital camera, the Minolta Z1. Eversince that fateful Christmas evening, it dawned on me that I should add photography to my list of passions. My current camera is a DSLR, Nikon D70 which I am faithfully holding on to.
Golf
When I was in my youth, I have never thought that I would be one of those ‘uncles’ strolling along the green for a round of golf. I picked this game up back in 1998 with my dad who was kind enough to provide me with my first golf set and endless packages of golf lessons. However, years later, I stopped playing the game as my other passions kicked in…including photography.
It was in 2005 when I picked up my set again and headed to the green, since then I became an addict and never looked back.
Basketball
With two broken wrists, three fractured ankles and countless of sprains, I stopped playing physical and competitive basketball. However, I must admit that this game is still my passion and will always be…either as a player or spectator.
More updates to come…
