Ten Thailand Takeaways (4/10) – Fast Food Nostalgia

There are three fast food joints I have planned to visit while in Bangkok – A&W, Baskin Robins and my favourite Dunkin Donuts. I could vaguely remember my visits to such places when they were still doing business in Singapore. My latest memory of such places was during my golf trip to Johore with Papa (Bear), Brudder Mel and Doggie. I believed it was A&W we visited. Their root beer in a frosted mug tastes soooo good!!

So as much as I could, I tried to tie in our shopping plans with revisits to these old skool fast food joints. Unfortunately, our plan had only allowed us to visit just the A&W located at Siam Square. Although I would love to say that “hey…one out of three ain’t that bad!!”…well..it is bad actually. I regretted not making a quick pop over to Mahboonkrong (มาบุญครอง) Centre (which is just right across) to pick up a tub of ice crean and a box of donuts before walking over to A&W. But I guess my laziness got the better of me. My loss!!

A&W rawks anyways ;)
