Lunch @ Pisang

Eddy (Edrick), Harry (Harold) and I popped over to No. 1 Costume Novelty at 32 Aliwal Street last Friday in a bid to get some horse costumes (don’t ask) for my organisation’s year end function. After an unsuccessful journey and feeling the growling stomachs, we decided to head down to the nearby Arab Street to get the feel of the Muslim community around and to grab some chow.

At about 2pm, after a short walk and checking out some great Nasi Padang shops,we somehow found ourselves in Jalan Pisang. Not knowing which shops serves great Nasi Padang, we did the ‘ol Singaporean thing and headed to the most crowded shop. The result? Pretty good Nasi Padang, especially since the spread below is at under $25.

Of course me being the ever so ‘forgetful guy after a full stomach’, I have forgotten that I was supposed to pick up a card or at least take a photo of the shop front so I could make that complete recommendation. All I can tell you is that the colour of the shop front…is green. That’s right, just check out a green shop at Jalan Pisang and its probably it ;)
