Lyn (my boo) and I were at Marina Square last Sunday to catch Harold and Kumar 2, a movie I have been waiting for a very long time to reach our shores. After getting our more than enough dosage of laughter from the movie, we headed back to the parking lot and passed by Gloria Jeans on the 2nd floor when this sign caught our attention:

The ‘ol skeptical me initially thought that it is a gimmick to lure customers inside only to disappoint them with their terms and conditions they didn’t spell out clearly on the signboard. But as “too good to be true” promotions like this go, we couldn’t help but want to know what the deal actually is.
To our pleasant surprise, there was no gimmick. Just plain ‘ol $2 coffee from 2pm to 7pm and only at Marina Square. To top it off, we can have any hot coffee of our choice ranging from latte to cappuccino, etc. So being the auntie and uncle that we are, we ordered a cup of hot latte each and smiled our way back.
So if you guys are around Marina Square from 2pm to 7pm (not sure if it only applies during the weekends), do pop over to Gloria Jeans for a fresh cup of java, it will definitely perk you up…even at four in the afternoon

Having a CREAMY coffee right after Harold and Kumar? How apt! “It’s not about the government, it’s your country!” hahahaha
KC: hehehe..I’m sure glad the cream is from erm..the milk carton and not elsewhere…
