I survived!!

So Thursday came…my dad and I headed to Pulai Springs for a round of father and son (but father is gonna thrash son) golf. Although it rained the night before in Singapore, I am glad the rainy clouds didn’t travel with us to Johore. This time round, we didn’t get that odd darkish tan since we were protected by the friendly Malaysian clouds…oh yeah!!Once we started teeing off from the 10th hole, I promised myself that I would not be shamed in front of my dad…and yeah…I think I did well. To cut the long story short, I triple-bogeyed from the 10th to the 18th but managed to consistently hit double-bogeys from the 1st to the 9th while squeezing two bogey opportunities. Still…my father had a much lower score. Darn…but oh well…

A photo opportunity while waiting for the guys in front to finish up.

Hatched 31 years ago

We celebrated Justin’s 31st birthday at MOS on Saturday and the bunch of us had earlier planned to get Justin totally sloshed. After some champagne and Vokda, Bernard made Justin pop a nid of Bacardi 151 with him. Two or three Vodka nids later, Justin saw himself visiting the john doing his own version of the merlion. Too bad, they weren’t done with him. Poor boy was tortured the entire night with Lyn and Lisa getting him lime and water, his only saviours.
Unfortunately, Bernard too was hit with that one shot of Bacardi 151 and spent most of his night stoning on the white chair. So being the designated driver, not only did I refrain from heavy drinking, I had to send the both of them back…but not before we had that lovely bak ku teh at Havelock. Yeah it was fun.

Thanks to Tini for getting us a VIP access, a nice table and the drinks…woah…she is the greatest.

Justin at the torture chamber. That boy is soooo screwed.
