After listening to KP’s erm..endless ravings of his successful shaving experiences with his newly purchased razor, I was pretty tempted to go pick up one myself. Shortly after some procrastination, I learnt that my colleague, whom by the way dates my cousin, has been receving new Gillette razors from him.
It seems that my cousin, who works at P&G has been getting ‘good stuffs’ from his company, P&G, which resulted from attending countless events and conferences. Since Gillette has merged with P&G, ‘good stuffs’ from Gillette are also included in his gift bags.
Anyhoo, background aside, I received a call from my colleague this morning with the sweetest four words I have heard all day…”Your razor is here!!” So dear all, I present to you…my new razor, the Gillette M3 Power Nitro. I am so gonna shave like Beckham.
Oh btw, I have never used a razor in my life, just an electric shaver. So this is going to be exciting.

Lyn (my boo) and I headed to the newly opened Vila’ge at the Heeren with much hopes of experiencing a different type of food compared to Marche, which closed some months back. However, we quickly discovered that the food, service and way of purchase there is pretty much the same as Marche.
Word has it that the owners of Marche decided not to continue doing business under that name and created a similar restaurant serving the same food but under a different name. Wow, how creative!!
Only one thing changed tho…their Erdinger Dark sucks man. Lyn couldn’t even finish up half of her 300ml glass. KP would definitely be pissed if he tasted the beer there.
Check out this comical trailer on Al Gore’s movie “An Inconvenient Truth” by the makers of Futurama. Less scary…:p
Got a call from my car agent a few minutes ago with good news. Apparently, the COE is going so high and projected to be continuing that they have decided to cut their losses and go ahead with getting the COE for my car.
After much discussion, I learnt that the price of my car will still remain the same and I could get it as early as next week. Woo Hoo!! Now let us pray for no screw ups!!
Pulled out this article while reading Daryl’s blog (and erm..having a lonely lunch..sigh). Figured you prevs might find this interesting…especially KP and Kun…damn you maggies!!
China cracks down on striptease funerals
Woo Hoo!! I managed to import all posts and comments from my old blog at Blogger to this one. All I need is just some formatting adjustments and I am done…:)
Lyn (my boo) got a call yesterday morning from a nice lady claiming that she found our beloved Omu. Apparently, from what we have gathered, someone must have found Omu near Lyn’s home and brought her to Yio Chu Kang and later dumped Omu there after finding out her condition. Omu was later picked up again by a friend of the nice lady and she too helped nurse Omu to a pretty good condition.
In just three days, Omu gained some strength and was pretty plump when we picked her. Omu’s eyes was less swollen and her legs gain some strength, perhaps from all that eating. The nice lady gave some tips on doggy care before giving Omu a last kiss goodbye. Thanks Vivien!! We thought Omu was a goner…:)

After months of procrastination followed by a week of waiting (which was after making that call to Starhub), I finally got Cable TV in my room. This is soooooo sweet!!
To add more sweetness to the pot, Starhub gave me access to all channels for about a week. HELLO HBO!!

Have you ever wondered how the world’s climate would be now if Al Gore was the president of the United States of America instead of George Bush? Would US sign the Kyoto Protocol? Would all US car makers adopt to fuel efficient machines in their cars? Would the industries turn towards energy efficiency practices?
All these questions started developing in my mind while I was at the sneak preview of “An Inconvenient Truth” this morning, produced by the ex next president of the United Sates, Al Gore. Truly this man had a passion for the world. The 1 1/2 hour documentary movie provided stats, photos and ’secrets’ proving that the world is going down with global warming. All these came from decades of information collected by scientists and compiled by Al.
Perhaps it was because of the industry I am currently working in that encouraged me to develop a greater interest in understanding and preventing the world from heating up. But the statistics are shocking and if we don’t do something about it now, we might as well forget about procreation since our children will not be able to survive the future climate anyway.
So who is game?

Alrightee..I am not an environment freak although I have my moments in refusing plastic bags when buying small items or when I carry a bag and I do a little bit of recycling at work. I am also not posting this nice photo because I work in an environment-related industry and selling the idea of waste management although I am supposed to.
So my reason of putting up this photo?
- I am archiving about 100mb of email and can’t access my Lotus Notes till it is done. So there is nothing much to do but blog and surf the net;
- This photo has a really nice composition although the little girl’s head is a little chopped off;
- If you take a close look at the bottom right corner, you can see a bucket full of Asahi beer cans (even drunks know how to recycle);
- And yeah…recycling from young is a good thing. Somehow I wish Singaporeans could adapt to such habits. We rely on cleaners too much.
Anyhoo…click on the photo for a bigger image.
