Guess its one of those cheese that will go through a caning and jail sentence…:p

"Et ducit mundum per luce" – Angels and Airwaves
Lyn (my boo) pulled out four of her wisdoms on Wednesday after enduring an irritating 2 weeks or so. Yeah she may be brave but her diet now includes soup, fruit juices, soup, some ice cream and did I mention soup? Have not seen her eat anything solid since then and that is really pissing her off…somehow affecting me as well.
Seeing how she is feeling during her weekend stay at my place, I think I am keeping them wisdoms until they rot and I have no choice but to pull them out.
Was staffing my Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the charity premiere of “An Inconvenient Truth” movie at the new GV Max in Vivo City last week. Some of the few wonderful things I encountered for this event:

Yeah..I love such events. Too bad that I don’t get to do these much

Popped over to Ted’s place again a couple of weeks back to install two gauges in my Chevy. Yeah I may not be zhng’ing an Evo or STI, but it is my car dammit and I do whatever I want to do with it..and if my wallet permits of course..keke.
Since that I just wanted to install the guage for sheer aesthetics reason, Ted said that my economical option would be installing a vacuum and voltage gauge. Problem is that the power of my car (or rather the lack of it) does not really warrant any gauge at all…but its cool..I will learn to live with it…:p

I forgot to renew the domain name for my basketball team Spartans and seems that I can’t access that site anymore. On top of that, a chunk of images that I use for blogging are hosted on their site. This means I have to start all over and re-register the domain name and hosting company. Meanwhile, I need to go find my pics and re-upload again…uuuggghhh!!
Got my colleagues a box of Aussie chocolates for their consumption on Thursday morning and was pleasantly surprised to see this in my rubbish bin when the day ended.

My colleagues actually finished up all the chocolates in a day. Should have bought about three boxes…oh well…
While chillin’ at Ted’s place and waiting for him to be done with my car, I came across this van that his guy was accessorising. Seems to me that its either the customer is hard of hearing or he just loves music and need to show it. But after learning that he goes to Seletar on Friday nights to display his ride, I reckon its the latter eh?
Ted dared me to stand two meters from the speakers and endure two minutes of high volumed soundwaves in return for a dinner of my choice. Knowing how this is like, think I’ll pass this time round. Check out what the owner has at the back of his ride.

So yeah I am back home after a great five day trip to Sydney to visit Eva and Ian. Since I don’t really want to go back to work the very next day I return from a trip, I applied for another day of leave to chill and try to get my life back to reality.
So now I have time on my hands, I went over to Autoimage again to visit Ted, the guy who earlier decorated my car with lights and stuffs. I really needed that 3M’ish mat that every car owner was raving about. It looks like a 3M mat, works like a 3M mat, smells like a 3M mat but is waaaay much cheaper than a 3M mat and oh..its not a 3M mat.
I was told that I could get a set for about 30% or so off the 3M price in JB but I felt I needed something more..so I got Ted to customise it. It didn’t take long for him to roll out the 3M’ish mat and cut them to fit my car and the next thing I knew, my ride was clothed with the 3M’ish mat…and no one will know that it is not 3M…erm..except you guys.
To add more colour to the interior, I got ted to put up two 15″ blue neon lights under the two dashboards. So when someone opens the front door, the neon will light up giving that ‘ol “Beng Look”…yeap it totally rawks.

I have always hated those moments where you have to pack up after a trip…especially when you have enjoyed it to the fullest. Today’s iteniary was something I was looking forward to the entire week…SHOPPING!! Apart from enjoying nice discounts at a factory outlet and doing a walkabout in the city, the highlight of the day was drinks at the Hilton Sydney and dinner at The Oak.  The Oak is basically a place where you pay to cook your own food (yeah..make sure I don’t get charged for service) but with Ian manning the grill, dinner was excellent.Â
Really nothing much to blog about today considering that it was just all shopping and no adventure. I am doing this so that I can fulfill my personal promise to blog everyday when I am in Sydney. Anyhoo I am just going to end it early and pack my bags. I am so gonna dread heading back home and welcomed by the haze and heat…but unless I get a good job in Sydney…I am gonna be staying in Singapore for a while. ~Sigh~
