Was supposed to write about this event about three days ago during the NBA 2008-2009 opening day. This was when Boston Celtics celebrated their championship last season with a ring and banner ceremony. And to cap it off, they even took down the Cleveland Cavaliers 90-85 in a pretty much teeth gritting and nail biting opening game.
Once again, I don’t normally embed YouTube videos in my blog but heck, this is the Boston Celtics’ Ring Ceremony, an experience they have missed for over two decades. So you can see what I am so eager to share it.
On another note, the Indiana Pacers managed to clip the Celtics’ wings in a 95-79 victory yesterday. Not exactly a championship team in form I say, but there are more than 80 games to go so I am holding on to my seat. This is going to be one heck of a wild ride as the Celtics attempt fight their way to a repeat…~cross fingers~
