If my blog’s inactivity is any indication how busy I have been recently, you would probably know I am pretty much neck deep in a tonne of to dos. Sevem more days into the big project and I can’t tell you how much I am looking forward to beginning a life with someone that symbolises all things Godsent. Emo stuffs aside, our photographer Kin Leong whom we engaged for our solemnisation has been hard at work making sure that our dollars invested are well spent. In addition to making plans to meet us prior to our big day in hopes to document our planning stages, he also blogged about our experience giving us much love. I was unable to attend the match up between the Singapore Slingers and Thailand Tigers due to work commitments yesterday. After checking the scores upon returning home, I was rather disheartened to learn that our home team lost again, 65-62 at home to the 5th seed visitors. However, given that they had a good run during the first few matches of their Asean Basketball League (ABL) campaign, the Slingers remain second in the league table at 5-3, but trailing further from the Philippine Patriots’ stellar performances with 7-1.

Of course its easy for us to dig up excuses like a disruption due to a two-week break or fatigue, but let’s be honest, the Slingers do require some soul searching and a chance at redemption when they meet the Tigers again at home on 17 December, 8pm. Will the Slingers extend their drought or use the 10-day break to pick up the pieces and return to their winning ways? Tickets are available at Sistic…
